In the aftermath of FINAL BATTLE 2024, and ROH's highly-anticipated return to the Hammerstein Ballroom in the heart of New York City, we return to Thursday night action exclusively on Honor Club! New ROH World TV Champion Komander isn't wasting any time building his legacy as champ as he is set to defend the belt against Johnny TV! Speaking of Johnny, his new runway buddies MxM Collection will also be in action during tonight's program, as will 3-Time AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm as she makes her Ring of Honor debut!
ROH Women's World Champion Athena, coming off a hellacious defense against Billie Starkz has called for a M.E.M, but not E for “empowerment” but rather E for “expulsion”! AR Fox takes on Blake Christian after both came up short in their Survival of the Fittest bid to claim the TV Title, Rocky Romero and a mystery partner are set for battle against QT Marshall and Aaron Solo, and after their clash with each other during FINAL BATTLE 2024, Katsuyori Shibata and “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington will team up to face Premier Athletes!
ROH ON HONOR CLUB gets underway tonight at 7pm ET/6pm CT with all that action and more, and airs exclusively on Honor Club! Not only is it the home for Ring of Honor's weekly programming, as well as pay-per-view events, it's also the place for 20+ years of top-tier wrestling history as showcased in the “Best of...” section with collections from The Briscoes, Nigel McGuinness, Samoa Joe, Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, and more dropping every week!
ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP...
Komander(c) vs. Johnny TV
This past Friday night in New York City Komander outlasted five other individuals to become the 34th ROH World Television Champion. After two previous attempts to claim that title, including as part of FINAL BATTLE 2023's Survival of the Fittest bout, the high-flying sensation finally claimed his first title in Ring of Honor and doesn't aim to let it go any time soon!
That being said Komander also aims to be a fighting champion and that is evident tonight during ROH ON HONOR CLUB where, just six days removed from his title victory, Komander welcomes the challenge of Johnny TV! Back on HONOR CLUB #83 Komander scored victory over Mr. TV Ready, and that was before Johnny found himself in this slump he's in, a mental funk so bad Johnny's actually eating carbs, and MxM Collection has desperately been trying to help him.
Can Johnny find his way back to the top tonight with a championship victory over the newly crowned Komander, or will this be the beginning of a high-flying era of Honor Club like we've yet to experience?
ATHENA ISSUES A MINION EXPULSION MEETING?!?
Come hell or high water, “The Forever ROH Champion” Athena seems to find a way to keep the ROH Women's World Title around her waist no matter who her opponent may be. It felt like last Friday night in Hammerstein Ballroom was going to be Billie Starkz' triumphant moment, but Athena found a way to win her 25th title defense and leave Billie emotionally devastated in the center of the ring as her parents watched from ringside.
Given that it was Billie's second time coming for Athena's title in the last 12 months, and all that's taken place between the two of them since July when Billie lost the ROH Women's World TV Title to Red Velvet, it should come as little surprise that Athena announced a Minion Expulsion Meeting for tonight on Honor Club. It's been a long time coming, but it looks like this evening in New York is going to mark a shift in the M.I.T landscape...

“Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington & Katsuyori Shibata vs.
Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese)
At FINAL BATTLE 2024 “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington made his ROH debut, as well as return to the United States for the first time in 17 months, to face off with “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata! Billington was unsuccessful in his attempt to hand Shibata his first ROH loss of 2024, but what he did do was earn Shibata's respect and a spot at his side in this tag team battle tonight in NYC!
Now Shibata is quite familiar with Josh Woods, Ariya Daivari, and Tony Nese from singles and trios competition, Woods even challenged him for the Pure Title back on HONOR CLUB #23, but this is the first time he's met them in tag team action as well as the first time Billington has stepped into the ring with any members of “Smart” Mark Sterling's camp! Will Shibata close out his 2024 with the same success he's experienced the rest of the year, or will these Premier Athletes head into 2025 in celebration?
A MYSTERY PARTNER?
Aaron Solo & QT Marshall vs. Rocky “Azucar” Romero & ?????
QT Marshall may have come up short in his match with Jay Lethal at FINAL BATTLE 2024, but he's getting right back into the action with another former ROH champion in Rocky “Azucar” Romero! A 3-time World Tag Champion, Romero has ROH history dating back to REBORN: STAGE ONE in April 2004, not to mention having traversed the wrestling landscape around the globe, so facing him in a mystery partner situation is quite the dilemma for QT and Aaron Solo. Rocky could pull a partner from his rich ROH history, his journeys throughout Mexico and Japan, or his work around the independent wrestling circuit. Who will step up by his side for this tag team clash?

AR Fox vs. Blake Christian
Though AR Fox and Blake Christian have generally stood on the same side of the ring during their ROH tenure, even challenging for the World Six-Man Titles together back at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2023, tonight they meet one-on-one for the first time in ROH in the aftermath of the World TV Title Survival of the Fittest match at FINAL BATTLE 2024! Christian displayed a rather surprising side of himself when he hit Mark Davis with a low blow ahead of eliminating him from the bout, and nearly put down Komander to earn the World TV Title for himself. Ultimately Komander took the crown, but now that Christian has come so close, he wants another shot at earning his first ROH title and that begins tonight against AR Fox! They're 1-1 in previous one-on-one meetings outside of ROH; who will add a win to their column in this first Ring of Honor battle?
